The Sustained Praise

Yesterday my pastor was brilliant in the pulpit. He taught us that if one continues to repeat and retell the good things that God has done in our lives, then the blessing of the Lord is sustained. It doesn’t end but goes on and on with the rehearsal of the blessing of the Lord. To remember what God has done and to tell it over and over again makes the incident of God’s provision in your life sustain and sustain and sustain.

I awoke this morning with the thought – the echo of blessings. God speaks blessing in my life and the echoes continue long after the speaking has ended.

The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life. The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life. The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life. The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life. The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life. The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life.

  1. Love the thought of the Echos Of Blessing, especially on a Monday morning. Then again, I also need it on payday as well…He’s More Than Enough!!

  2. “The Lord has been good to me. He continues to make the law of the harvest produce the blessings in my life.” That is a phrase to which I can say, “Amen!” The tens of seeds have been blessed into hundreds, the hundreds will be blessed into thousands, and the process continues. Great blog.

  3. Our sentiments to the inth degree! Have shared this one with {almost} everyone I know! Thank you!

  4. Pastor Brett, as your Dad before you, you, too are a blessing in my life. Every time I hear you speak, His Word speaks deeply to my heart. When I married Bill, God gave me abundantly of His treasures and one special one was becoming part of the family of Grace. God bless you and all your family as you continue living the purpose God has for you and teaching me more and more of His Amazing Love.
